PCCNC Regional Networksprint friendly version of this page | On March 21, 2009, the 8th anniversary of the official formation of the Prostate Cancer Coalition of NC, prostate cancer activists in Northeastern NC came together for the first in a statewide series of meetings of regional allies. This first meeting featured the work of activists in Northeastern NC. Click here to view the event Evite. Regional participants included representatives from the Northeastern North Carolina Partnership for Public Health, Heritage Hospital, Lenoir Memorial Hospital, ECU Center for Health Disparities Research, 100 Black Men - Greenville Chapter, Cornerstone Ministries, the North Carolina Comprehensive Cancer Program, the Black Men's Health Initiative, Pitt and Onslow County Man to Man Prostate Cancer Support Groups, Pitt County Memorial Hospital, the Leo Jenkins Cancer Center, the NC Minority Prostate Cancer Awareness Action Team, the Craven County Health Department, , EBC-ATOM, and the NENCPCC PHEOC at Elizabeth City State University. At the close of each regionally focused meeting our intention is to facilitate ongoing collaboration, regional mentoring, and the facilitation of dynamic partnerships that develop broad solutions.
